George Hageage
Coach Hageage came to Midland Soccer Club after a 17 year Division I coaching career. His combination of experience as a youth coach, Olympic Development and Regional staff coach and as a Division I Collegiate Head Coach along with his previous club directorships and work in coaching education as a member of the United Soccer Coaches Academy staff, made him a clear choice to lead MSC into a new era.

Created a comprehensive club curriculum

Successfully petitioned the state to make Midland Soccer club just one of 25 clubs in the state that are members of the Director's Academy.

Increased the educational level of the Fusion staff.

Successfully held two National coaching schools (United Soccer Coaches) at MSC. These were the first and currently only courses held in the Mid-Michigan area

Helped to revamp the club website.

Was awarded the Administrator of the Year by Michigan State Youth Soccer

Enhanced the TopSoccer program

Introduced the Jr Academy as well as Academy winter and summer camps. The camps host over 150 players each year.

Formed an International Academy partnership with Celtic FC.

Developed a new logo to embrace the idea of a "one club" philosophy.

Brought the Michigan State ODP 101 program to Mid-Michigan.

Oversaw the development of Fusion Women pre-professional league team (WPSL affiliate)
