Fusion Tryouts and Evaluation Week

Midland Fusion will hold tryouts June 7th-8th, 2025 at the MSC Soccer Complex. 

Evaluation week will be June 2-6th, 2025

• Tryouts will be for the following ages
  • 2019 Girls and Boys- Pre Fusion program- NEW
  • 2018-2007 Girls and Boys

Our teams play in:

Mid-Michigan Youth Soccer League (u9-10, u11-18 white teams)

Director's Academy (u10- pending tryouts, u11-12 green teams)

Michigan State Premier League (some u13-19 green teams and HS open)

Great Lakes Premier League or NLC (Best u13-19 green teams)

USL- Youth (Elite teams at different ages)

We are very proud of the program we are building.  We are a member of Celtic FC's International Partner Programme, Club members of the Michigan Director's Academy and USL-Y (formerly Super Y elite summer league) and are starting our first season in the pre-professional Michigan Super league (WPSL)!!

Tryouts are a time for promise and excitement at MSC!!  It is a time for current Fusion players to reaffirm their skill and make the statement that they will continue to put their stamp on their club.  For new players to the Fusion family, it is a time to show what they have and attack the moment!

The tryout session is a common session for all age groups.  It is designed to test technical, tactical and physical aspects of the game within the game itself.  It fits well with the current player development curriculum which outlines developmental stages and competencies for each age.  An MSC staff member will run the tryout for the age group coaches so that they may evaluate.

Parents, you will also notice that tryouts will take place in an area that is off limits to you.  You can still watch tryouts but it will be done at a distance as recommended by US Soccer, US youth soccer and US ClubSoccer.  This approach gives the players the least opportunity to be distracted and the best opportunity to remain focused on playing their best during the tryout process.

Players may be offered a spot on Fusion at anytime from the start of tryouts Saturday.

A supplemental tryout will be held per schedule posted on the website.  If you are unable to make the tryouts June 7-8th, please register and let us know you will not be at tryouts.

When accepting a spot on a team, there is a non-refundable $100 fee for field/complex maintenance, office staff and state fees.
